To do this:

1. Log in to Meta Business Manager and open WhatsApp Manager using this link: https://business.facebook.com/latest/whatsapp_manager

2. In the left menu, go to Account Tools → Phone Numbers.

3. Select the phone number you want to update.

‍

4. Go to the Profile section.

‍

5. Click Edit on display name.

‍

6. Type your new display name.

‍

7. Click Submit for Review.

That’s it! Approval usually takes a few hours to a day and you will receive an email from Meta once it’s approved.
