Setting up your FlowHippo billing is crucial to maintaining uninterrupted service. In this article, we'll guide you through the process of setting up the billing and adding funds to your wallet.

‍Step 1: Create a Subscription

FlowHippo charges $5.99 per custom flow per month. Initially, you will be charged $5.99 for each flow when setting up your first subscription. Thereafter, each additional custom flow you create will also incur this charge, which will be deducted from your wallet. Refer to our article on Pricing Explained to learn more about the flow subscription.

1. Go to Settings.

2. Under Credits, Invoices & Plans, click on Upgrade to Paid.

‍

3. Fill in all the required details: such as company name, address, phone number, and tax ID. This ensures your invoices are generated correctly, as this information cannot be changed later.

4. Click on Continue.

Step 2: Set Up Notifications

Setting up notifications is essential for critical alerts like account blocking, low wallet balance, or account deletion.

1. Specify notification preferences: Set a balance threshold to trigger alerts. For example, you might set notifications for when your wallet balance falls below $50. You will receive alerts via email and WhatsApp when the balance drops below $50, prompting you to top up your wallet.

2. Enter your email address in the designated field.

‍

3. Enter your WhatsApp number in the designated field (ensure you include the country code).

‍

4. Add multiple recipients by clicking on + Add Another Recipient.

‍

5. Click on Continue.

Step 3: Add Credit to Your Wallet

You can adjust your wallet balance as needed, with the default system balance set to $20. Your wallet funds can be used to cover operations that exceed your limits, as well as to pay for new and existing custom flow charges on a monthly basis. These charges will be deducted automatically, so ensure you maintain sufficient balance in your wallet for smooth operations.

1. Adjust the wallet balance: Change it to your preferred amount (e.g., $100).

2. Read and accept the Terms & Conditions: Tick the box and click on Pay Now.

‍

3. Enter your card information in the provided fields.

‍

4. Optionally, tick the box to save your card information for future payments to make the process easier.

‍

5. Click on Pay.

Once payment is completed, you will be taken to the Billing page where you can see your updated balance.
