About Weavers India
Weavers India was founded in 1985 as Khadi Kuthi and has grown into a leading maker and supplier of handwoven pure silk and organic cotton sarees, clothing and fabric. It moved online in 2014, and its products are made by more than 400 skilled weavers.
The challenge
Over six months, 3,557 Weavers India orders were marked as undelivered. Customers often missed delivery notifications and had no easy way to reschedule, so orders were abandoned, shipments went back to origin and operating costs climbed.
How Zoko helped
Weavers India set up a reattempt delivery flow with Zoko:
- As soon as a delivery fails, the customer gets a WhatsApp and SMS notification about the missed attempt
- The message includes a simple link to pick a new delivery date and time
- Customers can update their contact details if needed
- The new details are sent to the shipping partner automatically, so the reattempt happens quickly
Before implementing the Reattempt Delivery Flow, we were facing significant challenges with undelivered orders. Over six months, 3557 orders went undelivered, and that really hit us hard, both in terms of customer satisfaction and operational costs. The Reattempt Delivery Flow completely changed that for us. By simply automating a message to customers, asking them if they'd like a reattempt and letting them choose a preferred date and time, we saw a 40% reduction in failed deliveries in just three months.
